Hey girlies, sorry to hear you haven't been very well!!
If the Jelly Fish incident was an attempt to attract the lifeguards Loz, although it worked very well it maybe a bit too dangerous for future use??!! Glad you recovered okay!

G'Day Girls!
Thought of you lots y'day wot with it being AUSTRALIA DAY 'n' all.
And there you were right in "The Greatest Little Country On Earth" (Sir Les Patterson). Thought it was jolly decent of us Poms to offer our pathetic excuse for a cricket team up for a total humiliation. God they're crap!
I was chatting to me old mate, Sir Les, the y'day. You know him, the Australian Cultural Attache to the Court of St.James. He's a mate of me cousin Nige aka Carl Hooper.
Anyway, it was a telephone conversation, I believe Sir Les was on the dunny at Australia House at the time, just taking a quick break from the mega kneesup. We got on to the subject that is so perplexing the Pommie Press at the moment, the fact that we've run out of prison places. Sir Les came up with a bonzer suggestion, "ffarqwhitt, me old mate", he spluttered down the phone, "d'ya think it would be a nice gesture if I gave Her Maj a call at Buck House & suggested that, just for old times sake,we could help out by taking a few more convicts back home in Oz? After all they've integrated into Australian Culture pretty well so far!"
I naturally agreed that I thought The Queen would be delighted to accept such a generous offer but suggested that maybe he call Her the next day when a tad more sobrietous.
"You Blue-Nosed Wowser b******", he bellowed into the mouthpiece, followed by guffaws of laughter & a strange choking noise. Once he'd recovered, he did add a little rider though, "Y'know ffarqs, we wouldn't want any of those criminals from down Brixton way. Got enough trouble back home with our own black fellas. Always on the grog."
I thought this was a tad hypocritical of Sir Les who was clearly pissed out of his box at the time, but it came to me that perhaps, as our fine Ambassadors Down Under, you could run the idea past a few of your new found Aussie mates in between waxing their surfboards (are you with me, fellas? Ha! Ha!).
Anyway, girls, get back to me on that one. Sir Les would have completely forgotten by now but I think that reviving our most successful export to Australia is a top idea & could solve a lot of problems back here.
Keep having fun &, if you're not, you'd better have a bloody good reason why!
Love,
Chris xxxx

Hi Girls,
Looks like you are still having a ball - cannot imagine you are missing home at all! It snowed today at home v cold but did not lay so no fun at all. Grandma & Grandad send their love they are in SA now so cannot leave any messages for a while - they did get your card in time for their wedding anniversary and were delighted - well done Em. Grandma wants to know where she can send a postcard to you from SA? May not be a good idea as you will be travelling round soon. Loved seeing your pics - keep them coming. Love from us all - and take care of yourselves.
P.S Rex has started digging will let you have progress report. He talks alot about what time of day it is in Emily's world - sweet!
