On our way to Pau from Avignon and we made stops at Arles, famous for its former resident, Van Gogh. We picked up yummy sandwiches and Lisa was excited to get a good deal on Provençal dish towels. In Avignon we stayed inside the walls of the old city where we had an amazing view of the Palais de Papes, which was illuminated at night.
