After a short climb up the spiral staircase we come to some doors and out on to Museum Terrace with an excellent view of St Peter's Basilica and the lush Vatican gardens. After a good nights sleep and a half decent breakfast we're out of the hotel by 8:30. The sun is out and it's already starting to get hot. Yep after a quick refresh at the hotel we decide to go Rome'ing So here we are, our first Steps in Rome and they're not even Italian. They're Spanish. Not only that they're boarded up and being refurbished. The view from the top is pretty special though. You can see St. Peter's. And the Vatican.
