hello! Just got back from Slaley hall, NO.5, Harrogate - in that order. Had a great weekend with sister & cousins - apparently Harrogate is an "in" place for hen doos (KT why did you have to go to Barcelona??) & everyone thought that's what we were there for!! Soon put them right. KT's lawn mowing was excellent - puts all the neighbours to shame! Good job you aren't waiting for them to do it for you, they haven't started their own yet. Grandads would be disappointed. House fine. Back to work tomorrow to the real world of redundancies etc. Slap up meal at R & H tonihght - I hope!
Hope you have arrived in NZ ok. Get the fleeces out! Lots of love, Mumxx
Grandma & Grandad
Dear Ed and Ruth, We have just had a lovely roast beef lunch with your parents and the usual assortment of wonderful vegetables. Are you missing the English food? Ruth does not appear to have put much weight on yet so we hope you are eating plenty . You will possibly be needing your fur coats in New Zealand as it will be colder than what you have been used to. We are keeping well and doing plenty of gardening in short spells. We have just looked at your photos and messages and enjoyed them very much - must get ourselves a computer to keep up to date as your folks always seem to be away! Lots of love to you both and hope you will continue to have a wonderful time. Grandma & Grandad xxxxxxxx

Bowmanos! Enjoying following your travels across Asia! Latest postcard was wonderful! All regular contributors will be pleased to know that I have sold my flat - I think it was the combination of bread / coffee / bacon / pot purri aromas that really sealed the deal (thank you Zoe!). We move on the 9th June - just in time for the World Cup. Ed I was mightily impressed to see that a month of your hard earned salary covered a short tuk tuk ride in a developing country - you are loaded man! Have just spoken to Rich & Matt who are meeting their cousin Mel in London. They both took part in a mountain bike race at the weekend around Pitsford Resevoir - Rich fell off and broke his finger - he was particularly disapointed as it was one of his swearing fingers. Really enjoyed Abbo's 30th party at the weekend - Abbo was in great form and it was nice to see Tarantino (one of the guests attempts at ponouncing Tanino). Anyway guys I will sign off - take care each of each other - have a great time! Sam

Greetings Amigos.
Great to hear you are both keeping well & still speaking to each other....
The sun has finally come out here so I took the opportunity to cut your grass last night ha ha, I am actually very proud of my efforts, however ruth i think ur mum will say otherwise when she arrives later - lets just say it was rather long!! anyway it kept the neighbours entertained for a good hour!
Your piccies have been brightening up my boring days at work - keep them coming, oh you can't !!??!!
Annie was here last weekend which was a sober affair as always. Went to watch the Kaiser Chiefs Sat which was brill. Then sunday we headed to town for some civilised drinkies in our local (the champagne bar)- things went pear shaped when he headed to mojo's til 3.30. Was glad to see the back of her by Monday!
Anyway I will send you an email after the weekend with details of places in NZ worth a visit as well as any news that cant be read by all....I cringe at what you might say next Abbo (Happy B'day by the way!)
Take care - Lots of Love Katie xxx

Hello there you two, it's good to write again after a weeks absence while we have been away in Spain. We had a great hoiliday and superb weather but now it's back to normal here - only three weeks to go before our next few days away - life is very hard isn't it ? Glad you are both in good spirits despite the loss of your camera. We have been enjoying your photos and postcards and all the messages from your many friends - what great senses of humour they all have !! Grandma & Grandad are both well and send their love - their old car has just passed its MOT so will be on the road for at least another 12 months. Will sign off for now and get ready for my return to work tomorrow after the hols' Lots of love as always and look forward to hearing from you soon. Mum and Dad xxxxxxxxxx

Hi Uncle Edward and Auntie Ruth, I just wanted to tell you that I am now having football coaching and mummy and daddy have bought me lots of football gear and I scored a goal on Saturday, so Uncle Ed need not worry about Wayne Rooney because I'm much better! We went to the seaside yesterday and mummy said the hole I dug was so deep that I nearly met up with you! Hope your feet smell better soon Uncle Edward! miss you, Ben XXX

Yo, yo, yo, Y'Abs speaking. Thanks for your birthday message Four-eyes, it seems that you actually contact me more when you are thousands of miles away than when you are in Rodley, hope you never come back....! Can't believe the big 30 has nearly arrived. I still feel like an teenager, which may surprise some of the people on this board, but suppose that we are all destined to grow older more quickly than we would like, how are your parents by the way?(ONLY KIDDING!!). Like you have both said it must be great hearing from all your friends and family, didn't know you were so popular. Dionne misses speaking to Ruth and has the famous dog turd under her pillow to inspire her in the quest for new practical jokes to play on Ed and I when you return! Lilly-Jo is growing fast and said she wants you to bring her back a horse. I told her you would probaly eat one at some time during your travels and she got a bit upset! Speaking of gifts, I can't wait to open your card tomorrow you kindly sent before you left. £10? £20? £50? £100?. Whatever is in it I promise to sent it to you so that you can stay in a nice hotel. Must be a bank note as can't feel any coins rattling around in the envelope! I see that Ed has invested in the regulation travellers leather type bracelet, very nice mate and sure to go with your matching pants and cap (if you are interested in selling them Vic, they are hidden in his golf bag). Anyway, enough of this drivel, take the best of care and look forward to hearing from you both soon.
P.S. Tiday has applied to join the circus!!

All guns and roses then! Surprised Ruth can hold onto her secret lack of knowledge! Somehow, getting up at 7.30 on holiday is just not the same as getting up for work? Hope you find more chocolate mooses (what strange animal is that?) Keep smiling, and don't learn too many tooth picking habits!
Don't forget to clean your boots before embarking on plane to NZ.
Love to you both, xx
Pete & Mazbow
