Dear all,
Sorry about that last message from my wife - but let that be a lesson to us all (the effect of too much alcohol disengaging the brain at a crucial moment). Please watch this space for her next message once the hangover has worn off. B.

You're obviously in hiding until after England play Equador! Should be easy to see the match though, or hear it! Summer seems to have gone into hibernation here, back in windstopper cagouls etc! Wimbledon starts next week - obvious, since th weather is so cold. Soon be end of term though, and warmer climate in France beckons. All seems OK here, puppies off to their first experience of Rudston this weekend (Ebony will have to find a hiding place!) Hope to see pics and postcards from Equador soon, xx
Ros And Phil
Hi Ruth and Ed What an absolutely wonderful trip and great photos - it certainly "knocks spots off" our recent lvery wet long week-end in Cornwall even though we had dinner at Rick Stein's restaurant. We are hoping Min and Pete will read this on your message board as we have been trying to contact them by e-mail for weeks - either our e-mails are not getting through or they are on holiday AGAIN!! Take care. Love Ros and Phil

Laura
Hey sir! It's Laura here, your fantastically intelligent AS History student, who well aced her exam last week - OR NOT. No, it actually didn't go too bad. I knew all the answers, I just felt like I waffled a bit too much - but then that is my speciality, isn't it! haha.
You seem to be having a great time, lucky you. We were having fantastic weather last week up until sunday when it decided to rain... darn. Well done for having the courage to sky dive, I wouldn't dare.
Chow!
xx

Looks like you are having a great time best mate and wife, hope that when you return you will not be doing outdoor pursuits all the time as it would be a huge waste of a fab quiz team! Weather has been hot, hot, hot in Scotland and as you can imagine they're really not enjoying England being at the World Cup (unlucky) but the way we played against Paraguay we may not last further than the second round. Some dodgy decisions were made by Sven 'Ivan Green' Goran Eriksson and the use of substitutions was also suspect. Anyway, I will be in Harborough for the second round game so will try and catch up with some off the boys and maybe you're old man, who will probably read this and book another holiday! My girls are good, I have four now, Dionne, Lilly-Jo, Snuffles and Fluffy. Before you get excited Ed, the latter two are not from my local lap dancing venue but are the new family pets (rabbits if you hadn't guessed) and stupid here has been given the role of chief fur handler, something I seem to be a dab hand at it!! Hope to hear from you soon, miss the calls and the interuptions from our good ladies. We may try and get to Leeds for a weekend but would rather see both of you there at the same time. Happy travelling....
Ben And Max
We are very sorry that you are so cold, we are boiling hot! We went camping in our new tent on Saturday at a local campsite (Bowman park) the facilities were very basic but we coped. Mummy even enjoyed it, so we are now planning our first weekend away. I am doing lots of reading and sums, I have also started taking pack lunches to school which is great. Max is ok, he has had his big teeth come through so has been abit miserable and annoying. I have found South America on my map, it looks like a big country, I hope it is sunny there and you have a great time. We all miss you lots. x x P.S Because this has been a big holiday do I get a big pressie when you come home?
Fifi
Hellooo! Sounds like you're still having a fab time. Fear not about the freezing weather in NZ. I'm sure once you get to South America you'll miss it! It's actually thundering and lightening here as we speak...hope I don't get hit by it....thank goodness I;m not camping again! No major gossip that I can think of although me and Mike are getting increasingly pissed off with work and are thinking again of going off on a big travelling trip. We'll see. I think actually Mike is more bothered that the footy team's not performing. Anyway, keep having fun and keep up with the up dates. Missing you lots....Fi

Pete And Maz
Hello again you two - how are you ever going to settle down to working life again after this wonderful experience? We have just been looking at your latest batch of photos and are most impressed with your sky-diving exploits. You must get your adventurous genes from us !!!! We have just spent a very mundane day tree trimming so glad that's finished for now. Tomorrow we are off for our usual Thursday walk and the weather is set to continue in the mid 20s, so needless to say we will be running to the pub at the end of the walk. Look after yourselves and hope to catch up with you soon. Lots of love from Mum and Dad xxxxxxxxx
