So how's the ashes been for you? I've got to admit I'm more a dogs man than a cricket man but the odds for England to get the draw look very tempting!! Has Harmy been as uninspirational as reported?

I'm not sure if you heard but whilst I was at Walthamstow I heard a rumour from this dog from Torquay (a real b**** but still a go-er) that TUFC (Devon not Oz) are getting a new ex-Czech international manager and are stamping out diving!! Brave!!

Anyway enough with the banter, loving the site still after the dry spell. Lets hope the updates come thick and fast like the Australian wickets!!!

There are no words to describe the envy I feel logging into Ed's world every now and again. Don't get me wrong, things are great here. I spent half an hour scraping the frost off my windscreen this morning with bleeding frost bitten fingers after watching the St Mary's efforts on the football pitch at the weekend (disappointing). Bring back the long summers on the cricket verandas...

Word on the football league chat site was that this site was a hip and happening scandal-filled veritable scotch broth of banter! I have to say on reflection, given the lack of updates, that I liken the site and the banter contained therein more to that of pea and ham cup a soup. Ed, sort it out! Between games there's nothing more I like than reading blogs written by obscure fans of my past clubs'.

I was jealous that you'd had a Christmas experience before me but then realised I'd been humming 'chesnuts roasting on an open fire' in the shower in early September.

The pics keep coming and keep amusing - loved the one of Chris with the 'random' container ship in the background!! Looks like you're having an increasingly amazing time!

Finally thank you for the mention in the journal; it went down a storm in the office until they realised I spend 86% of my time reading your journal and looking at the pictures meaning I had to ask nicely for them not to block access to your website :)

Woz gonna send you details of the Australian Cultural Foundation but they've gone on their hols after last week's AGM held in a telephone box. In any case they had to blackball Barry Humphries and Rolf Harris for being too high-brow.
