Hi intrepid travellers. It sounds like all is going well and that you are seeing lots of things despite Lucy's short skirts. The Vatican trousers could start a new trend, a marketing opportunity the Italians have missed! I saw Katie's exam pieces on Saturday she was amazing, hopefully all will go well tomorrow in the exam. Lots of love to you both xx

Hi, we have just arrived at Naples. And for all of you worried that we are not seeing anything because of money, we went to Rome and had a very productive day and saw most of the main sights..Vatican and Colosseum and the Pantheon. we actually walked the whole way from one end of the citz to the other. So we have seen a lot. i also had to buz some reallz cheap pair of trousers so that i could go into the Vatican. verz funny so now they are my Vatican pants. (if i am going american) Anyway .. Rae the stones that are grez is a memorial to the holocaust. Its amazing you have to walk through it. We are now going to the islands and places around the Amalfi Coast. We are in a fab Hostel and again have free internet. Will update on what we have been doing soon.
And katie yes i do see the leaning tower of PISA. you make me laugh.
lots of love too all .

i wanna see HP tomorrow but the book isnt out for, erm, i think a week. today i actually sorted and labled ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY TWO boxes of sample paper. PAPER! i ask you. i wont be able to look at the godforsaken stuff in the same way again. 'hmm is it aquarelle or fabriano artistico?'
You actually saw the leaning tower of pisa? and what on earth were u doing in the streets of Verona at five in the morning? goodness. but ur right, the best thing about going to work is no homework. Adults just don't understand how thankful they should be.
Your immediate future sounds great with all those places ur going to, like Rome, Naples and Littletownnearbeachinitaly (it all just makes me think of Strada) just remember not to miss us too much!

Agree with Tina - you would be mad to miss going into places like Duomo etc, and as for Rome you must go - if Ed would look at his texts and e mails I have offered to organise hotel in Rome to save on euros and also I can have the "package" sent, if only Ed would ring me and discuss when he can pop into my office in Rome and collect it. Sorry to use the MB for this, but if Tina sees it and speaks to Lucy could she ask her to nudge Ed.
See all you can and the 2-3 euro entrance fess are worth it - happy to chip in.

Katie i love your message! It brings back all these memories of Pizza a go go land! I love that book! i want o read it now! Anyway about the photos slight hitch there was going to upload all of them but stupid me pressed the back button and ended up only loading up half! This is only half of Berlin! i have like 400 more! Italy is really nice but so touristy! Is that a word? I really like it though..Verona is my fav so far..most when we were alone in the Verona streets at 5 in the morning!
I am so glad that your Wk experience isn't too bad and anyway it must be better than school..i mean no work afterwards! I saw Pisa today! No match to your day with the stocing of the shelves! I thought that it would be bigger but its not as big. Heading south now to go to Rome and Naples and then little towns near the beach in Italy...personally i think it will be the best bit!
The money is ok atm but its always on the my mind. But me and Ed are on a 20 euro budget on normal days but that means that if something does come up we can afford it! Apparently Naples has the best Pizza..yum! I really want some meat though, fed up of all those carbs.. I want mums cooking!
love you all! Oo and how is the HP? have you read it ?? Is it out yet on film??
lots of love lu and Edxxx
Katie
having never been to italy lucy, wadda u think? is it a bon place? what do u think of the food? mum's right, screw the bank balance, do what u like. i like the pictures and that place in berlin where it's an ancient building inside a building is really cool. i've been spending the last few days stocking shelves and arranging products for work ex, and so i no how u feel, ed! but it's not that bad, because i feel really helpful because the arty ppl are very disorganised in comparison to moi.
fun fun fun, miss u, have a good time in pizza-a-gogo, katie xxx

Hi Lucy, lovely to hear your voice yesterday. Missing you loads. a bit worried you are both missing lots due to your obsession with the euros. 3 euro is only £2 tops, surely the duomo is worth it. I would rather top up your money than you go all that way and not see anything..... See and experience as much as you can. Lots of love xxx

Cant believe you're in florence! aka most incredible place in the world! I love how puzzled i was when you said 'Firenze' and then i realised that that is what Florence is called in italy-land. Hope you're having an amazing time still.. enjoy loads of pizza and ice cream as the italians do that best! Loads of love Xx
