Really enjoyed seeing your photos. With all that walking you must be quite fit now. Charlotte and Becky are in the hills helping Jim with the lambing. Ross has got his machine to drive in the hills, he was busy making stoat traps yesterday. The first swallows have arrived and I did the first mow on Friday. Also I have shifted barrow loads of stones. The pond has dried up so we will have to line it. Looking forward to seeing your pictures from the jungle.

What lovely pictures and a great message. You obviously enjoyed yourself even if it was a little tiring. I had no idea that you camped in such luxury - well comparative I suppose. I am sure when I was out there the camp sites were rather more primative. What an experience though - you will never forget it. If you have little momentos you have collected on your way round would it be worth seeing if you can post them home when you get back to your hotel in Lima? I am sure they could organise it for you and it would save you having to carry more round. Have a think about it. Sunny again today but still windy. Morning mate, Happy Easter....just a quick note to say that i'm trying to find all my New Zealand bumff, in order to lend a hand in choosing accommodation etc!!! There is a main YHA in Auckland, thhough can't remember the exact name, anyhoo, as i said, i will keep looking.

Darling - Happy Easter. Have you managed to keep your easter eggs until not or did you scoff the lot at the airport?! We are having a lovely time with the Joneses - glorious sunny weather and it's warm, at last. Went to Bamburgh yesterday and had a lovely walk on the beach. The dogs loved it except Perdy thought every child and every dog was there for her to play with - that caused a little consternation when children started wailing. Oh well, once we cleared the main body of people she was fine. Plants are sprouting in the greenhouse - I will have to get the out soon, let's hope this weather continues. I bought some strawberry plants last week and must get them in soon. Longing to know if you were able to walk the whole Trail or not. What do you think of Cuzco? Must go and plant the egg trail before everyone gets up. Hope all is well. Lots of love Mum

I'm having touble with the computer too tonight!!. We have just received your message of the 10 April. You were obviously having problems - poor chap. You shoudl have arived in Cuzco by now and have had time to walk around a bit. I can imagine you in the main square with the cathedral at one end and colannades round the square housing little markets. If I remember rightly, it all came to life in the evening but it may all have changed by now. I do hope the landslide will have been cleared in time for you but even if you have to bus from Aguas Calientes that is not the end of the world. I walked that last bit but maybe that is whre the landslide is. I seem to remember the rail line goies on beyond but not sure just how far. It's wonderful to be able to visualise what you are seeing. I think of all my trip that is the clearest in my mind because the whole thing is so fantistic. Can't wait to see you pictures. Becky is now with us. She is on cracking form. The two of them have gone to the yard to do night duty because Millie is due to lamb any moment and Charlotte is determined to be there.! The Jones's arrive on Good Friday for a couple of nights. HaPpAY bIrThDaY! what an amazing place to be spending your birthday!
Sorry that i haven't written on this sooner, i have been rather tied down with lambing here-it has been extremely busy!lambs popping out left right and centre! milly hasn't lambed yet but lucy has she had twins one of which was jet black and the other was pure white!!quite odd really.
Becky is coming up on wednesday which will be great fun but at the rate we are going here i dono't think that there will much lambing left to do in the sheds we will be up driving in all the twins from the hill.
Looks like you are having great fun-very envious of you as you are gettin all the sun rays! we are getting the complete opposite,snow!
