The Berlin Holocaust Memorial is simple, massive and very moving. It is a series of huge gray concrete blocks, the range in height from a few inches to more than ten feet, as you walk between then the ground level drops a ways and insulates, you can hear other people but not see them, it is deliberately disorienting - very moving.
