Its the second time i have been to Sydney and the second time i have gone at the wrong time of year.Apparently Sydneys beaches are amazing.I wouldnt know, it has been too cold on both trips to make it to one. This is why I think I have to live in Sydney for a year at least to really experience it.I would be happy to without even visiting a beach because its such a cool city.Despite only visiting for a brief 2 days,I still manged to spend a great evening catching up with Frances, a girl I had made friends with while travelling in Thailand last year, and who is lucky enough to be a native of Sydney, get my hair cut to something resembling a style (it was dangerously close to a mullet) meet up with friends made in New Zealand who had moved there, get lost with Reuben, and indulge in possibly the worlds best meat pie, EVER.While we were there a light installation was taking place in the city and the Opera House was lit up in all different colours and patterns, it was breathtaking. The shopping is also great in Sydney and so I spent a happy day exploring a massive mall on the hunt for the perfect fedora.(Found it and sent it back to the UK due to colour impracticalites).Hookers and'hos, sex shops and pimps also featured heavily in this visit, because we were in the area full of them.Needless to say, window shopping was a trip. Reuben and I are still talking about the footwide buttplug we saw in one establishment. How does that work exactly? Once removed does it revert to normal? How do you get a footwide butt plug in anyway? Questions, questions.I limited my purchases to the fedora only and we carried on to Melbourne.
