hey Nat. yep all is cool here. had tims birthday the other day. got steaming the night before and had an excellent meal at 'mama's restaurant' in Laos which is officialy THE friendliest place in the world. Everyone here so far is so unbelievably friendly. Hi Dad>>>>Left Cambodia a few weeks ago. Spent 3 weeks in Viet Nam which was excellent. Met up with quite a few buddies we've met travelling as well as the guys that used to live with us in Sydney. Just arrived in Laos, very beautiful. Went on a trekk today with a local village elder and interpreter. Tasted some of the local dishes for lunch and visited a stupah (buddhist temple) Currently in Savanakhet and moving on to Vientienne, the capital of Laos.

Bruv, no that wasn't me- I'm not "dipstick daz"! Glad to hear from you finally haven't heard from you in a while. Things are still usual back here, working hard I'm afraid. Going snowboarding in february in Austria or something which will be good, and can't wait to Tenerife at crimbo 'cos this cold weather here is crap now. Stacey is fine too enjoying being a teacher but I have to mark all her maths work which I'm not too keen on. Met Gavin at ABN again last week he says hello and says he's been following your progress on the website. All those exotic countries look rank glad I'm in London with the heating on full blast and watching Neighbours Eastenders and Holyoaks!

Daz? is that you bro?!??? don't worry Ursula, we have a plan for tims birthday which involves riding down a river in Laos in a tube, stopping off at some riverside bars along the way. They pull you in with a giant bambo poll whilst still in the tube. hopefully all goes to plan and not spolied by the weather :O)

Sounds like your having a whale of a time mate....... just think of all those wild adventure stories you can tell your Thai children when you get home !! ;O) Anyway glad your still okay and hope it gets better from now on. Pete and Charley (assumming she's still going after her little accident today) are heading for Koh Samui, Thailand on NYE, before heading off to do pretty much what you've done.
