Bye Bye LA LAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We left really early this morning to catch our plane - and for the first time in Christchurch we didn't get lost although we didn't go the way we thought we had - but we didn't have to turn around which is a bonus!
Said a teary goodbye to laila - i now know why you don't ask people you love to drop you off! My eyes were all puffy at check in, and Ed was a jibbering wreck! ( just joking about the latter, he couldn't wait to fly again! )
The flight was very smooth - we took off just as the sun was rising - the sky was an incredible colour of red pink - i've never seen anything like it before!
We arrived in Sydney at 8.30 this morning and made our way to the hostel. Today we have been wandering around Sydney and made our way down to the Darling Harbour. Its a really beautiful and relaxed city. The weather was gorgeous today so we spent the afternoon in hyde park.
Tomorrow we're meeting up with Ray Meager ( Alf Stewart- home and away ) he's gonna show us around a bit and then the world is our oyster! Well at least Sydney is for the next 3 days till we pick up our camper!
For Laila!! They don't have Tiptop here - they have Peters , have'nt tried it but i don't think it will long till we do. Also they didn't serve us breakfast so we were very hungry when we got here! Boo to the airline! We also had a fairly good idea that you wouldn't make it home without getting lost! But it's not you're fault - its the bloody one way systems! We've been missing you loads today - thought of you especially when i saw a resturant called the ice cream desert cafe!! I know!! But this is our diet time now and we're having soup for dinner with yogurt for dessert - i can just see your face now! Have a good night - look after yourself with those firemen and have a good journey home - we'll look forward to knowing your safe and sound!
