A business trip for Todd helped us focus on this part of the UK for a weekend getaway. It's a bit of a drive from London for a regular weekend but with a couple extra days to explore, it was perfect! Again we were blessed with amazing weather -- this has been quite an autumn for the UK. I guess it is redemption for such a wet summer!

We rose early on Saturday to be out to Wales by mid-day. Our accommodation in Little Haven was just perfect -- a converted granary with wood-beamed ceilings and a fresh hydrangea bouquet to welcome us. Outside we were surrounded by lush fields and just beyond, a view of the sea. The long drive made us ready for a walk to stretch our legs. Hemmed in by hedgerows, we walked down to Broadhaven. Good luck...it was low tide! Absolutely perfect for Todd and Foster to comb the tide pools for sealife. The beach break was beautiful...even sets rolling in left us wanting a couple of boards (and wetsuits!).
