The end of tour 1 and only 16 days to go. The meals were OK but not great. Packet soup and a big slurp of chilli sauce in everything is not cheffy. 10 lunches were make your own at 6am. They supply polony, salad and stale bread and expect you to make sandwiches and then eat soggy sambo's for lunch. The few times we had meat it was soo over cooked it was like old boot leather. The name of the town means mosquito creek. it is very apt, and has been the worst place for mossies so far. This is a launch point for us to go to Serengeti and the Ngorogoro crater. In true Intrepid style we left Dar today, there is way too much to see and do here to be hanging around. This is our 4th country and I still havn't seen a capitol city.
