hi kids. first of all congrats for you know what. i wont steal your thunder as i know loads of people read these messages and i expect you have lots of people you'll want to talk to. loved the pix as usual esp the night shots with the bridge. good shooting mate. it all looks fabulous and i'm definately envious from my armchair. i'd do the same but its the rheumatism and the lumbago you know plus i've got a pimple right on the end of the finger that i type with so i cant book a passage. honest! would i lie to you? have i ever misled you with stories that later proved to be false? all these questions and more will be answered in the next email. anyhoooo, all is ok this end so no worries cobber. take care darlings. xxxx dad

.Just wanted you to know we are both thinking of you today and remembering this time last year at farmer Johns and hoping you are having a fab time on your anniversary. We are off to riverford farm for lunch today and your mum and the girls are all on their way to farmer Johns for the start of their fortnights holiday so we will all be in places that remind us of you and will no doubt raise a glass or two to toast your 8 year anniversary.

morning sweetearts, just wanted to say a quick hallo and to say we loved all the fraser island stuff. and are so excited that your big trip really has started now and we can't wait for the next installments.

We had a fab weekend in bath recently and it was so good to see Dave, who was on excellent form, who, in fact as you can probably guess was the last to leave the party, I went to the loo after having been back in the tent for about an hour having said goodbye to Dave ages earlier, only to find Will, and Al still trying to get Dave to have his last one for the road but failing as he was still drinking very large gin and tonics, but true to form he was still bright eyed and busy tailed the next morning. He really really had a great day as we all did and all his hard work paid off.The band that played at your party did a couple of sets and really brought back some fab memories of your wonderful night in Feb, how long ago does that seem now. And it was also great to see your dad vicky (especially as our e mail has been a bit iffy recently and we had been feeling really bad as he had been e mailing us and we have been having huge problems replying to anyone so it was good to be able to re-assure him that we hadn't been ignoring him, ) also Rob and Anna were there and as you know they are always a delight, the only people missing were you two but your mum had written you a note so you were excused, although as you can imagine deeply missed, but it gave us an excuse to raise a few glasses to absent friends which helped to compensate.

We still have the full set of Aussies with us, but Jan has started her countdown to going home which will be in only 2 weeks now, its hard to believe that she has been here for nearly 2 months already and Chris has been here for nearly 4 so they are really becoming part of the furniture, so it will be so strange when Jan goes although the empty white wine bottles will be reducing a little but I am sure we will be able to keep up the standard in her absence.

Karen and the girls are getting really excited as it is nearly farmer John time, I think they go on the 8th so Nick and I are hoping to join them for a night or at least a picnic so we are keeping everything crossed that we eventually get some warm dry weather.

Anyway I must go as everyone else is waking up now but I just wanted you to know i was thinking of you, as always, and love you both very much and am looking forward to reading all about your next set of adventures. Love always Ali xxx

Just looked at the work video with Kris and Jake (Kris hadn't seen it) and noticed you said we make effing Max Factor stands. How long did you work here? I knew you weren't paying enough attention. A school class are having a lesson. The teacher says who ever answers correctly can have Monday off school. Sophie who said its not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country? JFK Sophie replies. Thats correct you can have Monday off school the teacher says. No miss i am a good jewish girl and my education is important to me. Ok says the teacher, John who said Asta la vista baby? John replies Arnie miss. Thats correct says the teacher you can have monday off of school. No miss John replies i am a good jewish boy and my education means a lot to me. Suddenly a voice from the back of the class shouts 'i f***ing hate jews'. Who said that the teacher demanded, the voice replied Adolf Hitler miss and ill see you on Tuesaday.

What do you mean "an old gaffa of about 70". Me 73 next month so don't forget the card! Will has tried to mate his Megane with a telegraph pole. He's ok but car a write-off. Guess whose car he's using now.

Hi everyone. Just to let you all know that we have now left Sydney. After briefly visiting the Hunter Valley we regained our position on the coast and over the past 4 days we have run away with the kilometres. Hundereds and hundereds of them, leaving us currently in the safe hands of Byron Bay. We think we will be here for a day or two before driving to Fraser Island. And for those of you who were wondering...:-) we are both fine and dandy. Love to all. Ciao! xxx

Hello everyone. Today is the day. We are leaving Sydney behind and heading for the Hunter Valley, just for one night we think. Then back to the coastline to Nelson Bay, again just for one night probably. We want to be in Cairns for 8Aug so want to get a riggle on.
