Day Seven: Poor David had to return to work on Friday. I slept in late and hung around the house all morning. David scooped me up for lunch and took me back to his office. I had a delicious Mexican meal out of a food truck. After lunch I took David's car and went to a little park in town. It's called the Citrus Ranch and looked for the most part like a regular park. Day Six: We went for a bike ride in Irvine Regional Park today. I came face to face with my lack of fitness. We did a two mile stretch with about 300 ft of elevation change and it just about killed me. The park is a really nice spot. It has a bunch of trails and green spaces plus the local zoo and a stable. You can rent horses or ponies to ride the trails.

Day Five: We are on the way to SiGGRAPH bright ad early this morning. There wasn't much to report on from yesterday. Went to the convention then came home and recovered. Feeling good and rested this morning. There were some pretty good talks yesterday. I saw the evolution of the style and story of How To Train Your Dragon and eight minutes of the upcoming Tron film.

Day Five: We spent the evening exploring Manhattan beach. We ate dinner at a Southern fusion place, grits and okra were consumed. It's a little strange but pretty tasty. After dinner we barhopped a little and ended up at a less than authentic Irish bar. Part way through the night a group of girls comes up to the bar and is asking about non-alcoholic beer. They work it out and get an O'Douls for their friend. We are thinking it's for a pregnant girl or something....
