Gord Thanks Dan - did Angus tell you to take it?!! The Oban to South Uist route (to the Outer Hebrides where my folks lived) was by far the longest, I always preferred the extra drive through Skye and ferry route between Uig and North Uist. That was only a two hour crossing!!
