Following an early start for a change we made good headway down route 101, again mostly along the coastline, looking at the sea, trees and eagles. Several hours later we made a pit stop in Port Orford for brunch. Then we drove 80 odd miles through thick sea mist till we hit Eureka. It doesn't get anymore exciting than that.
