Well my first blog was supposed to be coming from Hong Kong saying what an amazing journey I've had getting there and how nice it looks at night etc. Been to a few nice bars had some good food and met up with my friends Kristy & Hannah.
BUT I'm not writing this from Hong Kong. Instead I'm writing this blog in a pikey little office in Thatcham ENGLAND.
The recent Volcanic explosion in Iceland has had a detrimental effect on planes safety and therefore NATS has closed the airspace over the UK. No flights in or out. As such my flight has been CANCELED!!!
As grateful as I am for their concern for my safety, no one has a clue when it will be safe for planes to fly and things go back to normal.
I'm phoning every couple of hours for an update and to try to get on the next available flight out of this hell forsaken country.
I'm no quitter but there have been signs telling me not to embark on this journey and I'm starting to think that they might be right! My motto in life is no regrets and if I bail out no I will regret it. So Onwards and Upwards (literally). Air China PLEASE find me a flight.
Will update you further when I know something!!!
