Today it was time to catch a train and cross the amazing Oresund Bridge into Sweden. As we left Denmark the train entered a tunnel under the Oresund Strait to emerge sometime later onto the actual bridge which crosses the Strait. 40 minutes later we were in Malmo. Malmo is a mixture of the old with the new. Cobblestone streets, 17th century architecture, mixed with a modern feel in buildings and quite a buzzy atmosphere. We walked through some beautiful gardens, past the Malmohous Slott and finally made our way to the Twisting Torso. Quite a spectacular tower that houses both residential and commercial activities. From here we also had a good view of the Oresund Bridge. We decided to make the return to our hotel a bit easier with a ride on an electric bus, one of many which serves the city. Dinner in a great Indian Restaurant in a small town square, and then time to prepare ourselves for the next train journey to Goteborg.
