Galtur to Prague Straight run to Prague found the hotel more by luck than good judgement..natives don't seem too friendly. Started to enter bandit country the driving standards have begun to drop already. Day off tomorrow so going to do the touristy thing.

Gluringen to Galtur (Austria) Up and over the Furka Pass great stuff but still bloody cold even in June somebody said it had just been opened today. Into Austria long day cocked up the sat nav and spent 15 min passing through the Ordinel runnel only to have to turn round and come back over the B roads. La Tholy to Gluringen It rained! And unfortunately for us we'd left the boots on the balcony over night, as these motox boots tend to carry a high smell factor, what we hadn't noticed was that the balcony did not have a canopy.. had to pour it out .. had wet feet all day. Gauchin to La Tholy Standard trip across France a little cold but dry about 280 miles. Still settling in with the F800 only obvious problem is the snatchy throttle, manageable on tarmac but God only knows what an amateur like me is going to make of it on dirt...time will tell. Good hotel great cold beer.
