We are less than 8 weeks out from the trip now. After a dry patch of not being excited at all, there is now a growing buzz inside me that I am pretty sure is NOT a seizure!!!
It is the anxious stage too, where I am starting to double-guess things that may thwart our departure. Today's panic centered around the realization that the 7 yr old hasn't had chicken pox yet. So many choices to tackle this crisis.
1) Find someone with chicken pox and move the 7 yr old into their diseased home till he is good and spotty.
2) 'Smuggle' cod liver oil into everything he eats, cause I am sure he won't notice that at all!
3) Get him immunized against chicken pox. Nah, I cannot handle needles..
4) Do nothing and just drag him around America wearing a T-shirt that says 'I Am Not A Hugger And I Only Accept Air Kisses From A 2 Metre Circumference"
Anyways, I digress...Below is the itinerary for our trip. Feel free to let me know any glaring omissions.

Robyn I love it! Thanks Shellsh, I'll print it off so we can travel vicariously too! Don't stress about the chicken pox....surely the odds of him getting it are miniscule. Not worth worrying about! So excited for you!! :)
TL Allen I'm so excited for you!! You will have a blast! I was wondering if you won the lottery! That's alot of fun you'll be having. I'll watch for photos.
TL Allen PS... I didn't know you could ice skate in Bryant Park... Hubby and I loved Bryant Park. It is right behind the NY Public Library (a MUST SEE!... and free!) It's the one that was in the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" with Dennis Quaid. We saw them setting up the ice rink at 30 Rockefeller Plaza when we were there October 5-8 The twinkle lights were so pretty!
Kristina Wow, that is an intense schedule! You sure have done your research and will see everything! Yeah for you. This is a trip of a life time for sure!
