This is the first time the La Course by Le Tour de France has been run for the Women's teams and was 13 laps of the Paris tour finish course totaling 89 kilometres. The race was won by Dutch woman Marianne Vos of the Rabobank Liv team from a total of 20 teams and 120 riders. The orange jerseys of Rabobank were on the front all day so deserved the win as they were just too strong for the other competing teams.
