Pompeii
A morbid relic from the catastrophe of Pompeii. The people did not have a chance to get away from the eruption and were buried alive where they fell. Plaster was used by the archaeologists to inject into the voids where people lay to get a history of what happened to them, this is one of the casts taken and there were many of them done over the years. Not pretty but certainly a very historic relic.
