Another view of the amphitheater showing its sheer size and also the access areas which are quite ingenious as there were brick lined tunnels all round for easy access when the site was in use which came out on different levels allowing quick access and exit for the many patrons who would have attended the performances. Makes our new age open air concerts look pretty ordinary doesn't it.
