The port town of Kusadasi is another jewel of Turkey it is just beautiful. This old fort from the times of the crusaders sits inside the port area and is joined to the mainland by a causeway. The beaches and land surrounding the port are lovely and the areas are dotted with shops, restaurants, cafes etc. The town has around 65000 residents but in the summer it swells to around half a million with the influx of holidaymakers.
