Casa Amatller designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch is right next door to Gaudi's Casa Batllo and is one of three very modernistic houses all side by side with Batllo in the middle. I say modernistic but they were built around 1900 say way ahead of their time we think. Casa Amatler is quite conservative next Gaudi's very rounded flowing lines.
