Yo folks pretty much completed my first week here in South America. Go off to a bad start on the 18 hour plane journey sitting next to some fat ecuadorian woman who took up all the leg room, part from the pretty smooth landing. Spent the first few days in Quito where I would avoid going in taxis or crossing roads as indicators hav´nt been invented yet.

After that we took a trip to Tena and next to that hiked into the jungle and stayed the night with a local community. The next 2 nights we spent at a jungle lodge - the pic above is the view from my room. Hiked in the jungle and went on rubber rings down the river.

Just spent the last 2 days at a tourist town called Banos where we went white water rafting!

All is good having a great time.
