For a belated and surprise Valentines gift, I bought a couple of cheap return coach tix and booked us a night in a Jury's Inn in Birmingham. After talking to absolutley evryone at my work... there was only one person that had been there in the past 10 yrs. Birmingham is Englands second city and I think its population is about 1.5 million. It has quite a different feel to London- which I don't mind at all. We checked into the hotel then went exploring around the easy-to-get-around city centre. First of was a tripi to the Bullring- a shopping complex that cost over 500 thousand pounds to complete... by far and away the BIGGEST shopping complex I have ever seen!
