Tibetans love flags as you will see. Inside the temples, there are hundreds of buddah statues, icons, prayer books, candles, pictures of Lama's and Buddahs and protectors and holy water and scarves - all which have money stuffed in or around them...for good fortune, good luck ward off evil spirits, misfortune, bring fortune and the list goes on...holy crap!
