I left at 12pm at night as my flight left at 2:40am, a small detail I did not see in my itinerary. Flew through Beijing where I held up for 11 hours - found aiport rooms and slept in a bed for 6 hours. My flight to Chengdu left at 8:00am and I arrived around 10:30am. My guide met me (you really have to have one as very few people speak English - unlike everywhere else)
