We left Grasse and spent the morning in Canne - we went to the festival hall and got our photos on the steps where the stars walk up and looked at the celebrity hand prints, lots of designer shops. Very similar to the Gold Coast. For the afternoon we drove to a beautiful village called St Paul De Vence - another fortified village with stunning views of the valley. At 5pm we drove though Monte Carlo where Michael done a lap of the racing track past the Casino and harbour - then we headed to nice along a stunning coastal road - where we stayed two nights. We had lots of walking, a trip on the train to Monte Carlo to see Casino and some nice resting on the beach. We also went to a Casino in Nice - which Jimmy and Helen won our desert of scrummy Italian icecream. Time to hop on the train again and head for San Remo Italy - its so close we could see Italy from Monte Carlo harbour.
