Okay, so we have 2 weeks to go. Well, just over two weeks! This is our first blog entry and for all you guys who want to follow what we're doing out in the Philippines. We will aim to update this blog on a daily basis of what we have been up to for the day. We will also aim to include some pictures.
We are both very anxious about leaving, spending all the time we have sorting out paperwork, passports, packing and getting all the relevant information to all the relevant people. Last weekend we went shopping for supplies and essentials for the trip up in Cribs Causeway in Bristol. We have an unholy amount of mosquito repellant and an awful amount of sun tan lotion!
If you want to be kept up to date on what wer are doing, please follow our Snapchat: relief2015
Or like our facebook page: www.facebook.com/tomandjamesdisasterrelief
As I said, we will also aim to keep this blog up to date on a daiy basis.
And can I jsut say a massive thanks to all the people who've helped us out in a big or a small way! People who've donated money, who've turned up to our quiz and our car washes, and to people who bought things from our car boot stall! Without the help of so many generous people, we would be going to the Philippines on the 12th - so thanks guys!

Alison Borman Well done both of you. It must take so much organisation, hard work and courage to make this trip. Me and my daughters will be following your blog with much interest. It's great to have a link to the lives of people far away with such different living conditions to our own. It makes it easier to encourage my kids in developing a sense of global social responsibility and caring. Great to hear about your whole experience. It's more enjoyable to read a personalised account. Best wishes. Ali, Sasha and Naomi (Tony and Kath's neighbours) :)
