So on Tuesday 12th Feb, I embarked on my Padi Open Water Scuba Diving Licence with a company called Pro Dive in Cairns. The course consists of 5 days training, 2 days classroom and practical pool training (also a medical) and 3 days on the Pro Dive boat on the Great Barrier Reef.
