This morning we were meant to go on an aboriginal tour but there was a mix up. Good news is that we got to spend more time in the pool! Making the move to Litchfield Tourist Park was the best idea. The place was great and the breakfast this morning was awesome. Wish we stayed there the night before. Today we explored Litchfield National Park. First stop was Wangi Falls. This is the big draw card of Litchfield. The falls are impressive, there was lots of water coming through both waterfalls. Unfortunately the plunge pool was closed so we could not swim here. Next stop Florence Waterfall. Dad says everyday should start with a swim in a hot spring. Today this is exactly what we did, we headed to Katherine Hot Springs as soon as we got up, it was only 5 minutes away from our camp ground. We also caught up with another family we have become friends with at the hot springs as well. Bit of a sleep in this morning. We got up at 7:30 and soon went to Katherine Gorge. We took the two gorge tour. The boat tour is the best way to see the gorge. Definitely beats walking! The gorge was beautiful but my highlight of the tour was seeing two fresh water crocodiles. One crocodile was lying on the river bank.
