We arrived in Reykjavik yesterday afternoon. I love the city. Once again, the words aren't flowing to describe everything that has happened during this trip. But I want to keep writing to connect to this experience and keep it updated so when I return home I have references for this to expand on the experience.
The beauty here is something that I can't explain either. Even calling it beautiful is odd to me because there is so much snow and cold. But even the cold is different here? Normally I just tolerate the cold but here...can't explain it. It seems to fit into the environment. Or is IT the environment?
Iceland is a mystery to me. A deep, beautiful, sensitive and rugged mystery. The people are phyically beautiful, friendly and funny. They seem different in some way. Wondering if it is because of the intensity of the weather, the purity of their culture, ancestry? There is a gleam in their eyes and a freshness in their spirit that shines through to others.
We walked around the city today and ate in a local cafe. Tonight we had a beautiful farewell dinner celebration at a resturant overlooking the city. Breathtaking--food and view!!
Afterwards we had our farewell Dance celebration! Sharing/Talking about our experiences of the week. Tomorrow we go to the Blue Lagoon Spa for a few hours and then head to the airport.

At the airport..will add pictures tonight or tomorrow once back at home. I have loved this blog except I am still trying to figure things out. Like adding pictures and mapping things. But otherwise, love it. It has been a fun way to stay connected, sharing and staying present in each new experience.
Iceland is a place of high energy/vibration. Nothing like I've ever experienced. It is barren, volcanic rock and very much wild and alive. Hardly any trees, at sea level but feeling like I am at 9000 feet. I couldn't acclimate to being at sea level. Peg said it felt as if the top of the Sangres were cut off and placed on the rock. Very disorienting and that is what added to the wonder of this country.
More to come----
