Well here we are in Portugal. It is a wonderful farm in a lovely location in the hills near the town of Cabeceiras de Basto, a small Portugeuse town. It is our final night in Spain. We are catching a coach tomorrow that leaves Ribadesella at 5 am! We lunched at a tapas bar and walked along the estuary afterwards. Asturias is a wonderful place, majestic hills, lovelely coastline with a backdrop of snow covered mountains. Yesterday we went to Ribadesella a wonderful little town that is well worth visiting. It has beautiful beaches, a charming estuary walk, quaint little shops and a harbour walk out alongside the harbour entrance. This week we are helping Paul to paint his house. Luckily the weather has been good and fairly warmish peeking at about 20. The wind can be a bit chilly on the hills, but as you walk down towards Playa De Vega on the coast it becomes warmer. There is a great beach with a couple of bars. It seems to be popular with surfers and sun bathers that like to wander around au natural!

We arrived in Asturias on Monday evening by coach after giving the driver the address. He stopped the coach and we got off in the middle of nowhere with a mountain to climb (actually a very steep hill) half an hour later we reached our destination, a small holding with a cottage made of straw bales and house that is currently being renovated. Where were we sleeping? In a caravan of course! No electric or facilities - great fun this workaway...
