After our afternoon in Udo Island we drove to Phoenix Island. This is actually a luxury condo resort, not an island. Some famous tv/movie stars have apartments here, but you can still rent holiday homes here also. We were taken on a yellow buggy bus for a tour. This morning we started with a breakfast buffet in our oceanfront hotel. The restaurant on the second floor had a panaroma view of the ocean. Our school is having a week long art festival. This began with an official ribbon cutting ceremony which I was asked to participate in. The entrance to the gymnasium had a balloon archway and a multicoloured ribbon held across. The principal, visiting officials, and other teachers all held a section of the ribbon with a pair of scissors. We were also asked to wear white gloves.
