Daegu is famous for its stunning temples along the Mt Palgong mountain range. The two most prominent ones are the Gatbawi stone statue wearing a cap and the Donghwasa Temple complex. Canada will not be attending the Expo Korea will be hosting in Yeosu later this summer. April 11 was National Election Day in Korea. This was a cause for celebration as we got the day off as schools and government offices closed for voting.
