Korea has a three day holiday period from Mon Oct 1 - Wed Oct 3 for the Korean thanksgiving. This is the busiest holiday travel period as families return to their parents home and ancestral roots to pay homage to dead relatives. Back home in Toronto I used to do lots of biking along the Lakeshore trail which ran for about 30kms. It also branched northwards along the Don and Humber Rivers providing an extensive river biking network. Moving into my new neighbourhood I was having a hard time finding a men's barber. Ladies salons are easy to find and as numerous as bus stops on almost every block. But a men's barber is difficult to find. There was a good one in my old neighbourhood that knew how to cut my hair, but now he's a bus ride or 25 mins by bike, and he keeps random hours so I dont want to make a special trip to find he's closed.
