Sunday morning Toronto hosted 'Open Streets' a new event to its social calendar. From 9am to 1pm Bloor St from Spadina to Parliament and Yonge St from Bloor to Queen St was closed to traffic and made pedestrian and bike friendly.I had to get up extra early for this on a Sunday morning when I would normally sleep in. Having left Fort George I was looking forward to strolling thru Niagara-on-the-Lake and finding some ice cream to cool down and replenish my energy. Biking the 25km up the Niagara River I knew I'd finally reached Niagara-on-the-Lake when I arrived at Fort George at the mouth of the river. This weekend was a holiday weekend and I'd heard from someone at work that there were bike trains to Niagara.
