The first building we went to saturday morning is a distinctively designed signature landmark of the expo. This houses the Ocean & Coast Best Practice area. This was the first time I saw our press passes being used. We went to the front of the line where there is a seperate line for disabled, elderly, pregnant women, or VIPs. As we had a panorama view of the entire expo site from our hotel I opened all the curtains to see all the lights. I slept like this to see the morning view also. However, this woke me up at 5am when daylight broke. I noticed there was a large naval ship docked beside which I hadnt noticed at night. I was really impressed by the rooms we were given for the expo. Our hotel was the MVL which stands for most valued life. In korean this seems to get pronounced the hangul way of 'embel'. The exterior entranceway was impressive and the main lobby was something out of some futuristic movie. Staff all speak high levels of fluent english which is unusual for Korea.
