I can't deny that I was mildly embarassed by the whole experience but it was made worthwhile by the smiles on the faces of the local children. The train driver, who seems to love his job, rings the bell excessively and plays some cheesey kids music to announce our arrival. This in turn brings kids running to the door to wave and shout 'Hola'.
