Had a very restful night after a yummy dinner at an Italian restaurant just down the street. Wandered off this morning and walked through Millennium Park up to The Bean and then went on a north side tour up to Wrigley Field and then did a west side tour through Chinatown, Little Italy and Greektown after that. Found our way to The Plaza Cafe in Millennium Park so Bwian could sample a Chicago hot dog, which he enjoyed far more than the New York version. Wandered ...

Couldn't get into the House of Blues tonight ... all meant to be really!!! Made our way to a club, Buddy Guy's 'Legends' Blues Club, just a short walk away from our hotel and it was amazing!!! This would be one of our most memorable nights while on the BaD Beer Belly Grand Tour!! The band playing, Ronnie Hicks and his band, was a mix of young and old and played very cool music that we all know!! The band even had one white guy, a brilliant guitarist!! Buddy Guy ...

Found Bwian's next car!! The only thing is, we'd have to move the horses out ... oh .... and the Chicago Police!!! :-) xxx

Ooh ..... did I mention that soon after we arrived, we found another 'Kitty O'Shea's' Irish bar??? They are like magnets!!! I've renamed this holiday the BaD Beer Belly Grand Tour!!!!! You'll get it when we get home!!! Hahaha!!! Xxx

Made it to Chicago with a minimum of fuss! We arrived at the hotel at about 1:30pm and went for a walk to catch the Hop on Hop off bus to have a bit of a look. We have a 3 day pass on that so will use that for most of our getting around to places too far to walk. Sooo impressed with how beautiful the city is, so green and beautifully landscaped with the lake providing a fabulous beach feel to the place. (we know now why those of you who've been here love it!)
