i would use this compartment in between carriages as a freezer. as the only drinkable water ws the super-heated stuff from the boiler, what i did was filled up a big plastic bottle and put it in there for an hour, and it would be frozen. but i could only do abit at a time cz otherwise the plastic bottle would melt haha
