I must say I think it´s a wonderful thing you´re doing, it takes a certain level of guts you know. Hope the flight wasn´t too tedious for you, I´m normally shy and retiring. So talking for the best part of thirteen hours to ´Mad Bird in Peru´was so unlike me....right. Anyway got to go now, the next leg of the journey beckons, have´nt seen any Helmeted Pygmy Tyrants yet. Update from us this week: e-mail went down on Wednesday and only came back in the last hour or so it's been a bit painful as we've had to talk to one another! DCJ bought a new jacket (black what a surprise) don't tell her I told you but she bought it in Next!!!!! and yes I did go shopping with her and no I won't be doing it again soon! Gary's coming over next Friday so I'm going to have the afternoon off and we're going to have big hugs but we'll think of you on the trek! Anyway, everyone sends their love and take good care of yourself. xx

God poor lad on the flight next to you. Thought he was going to have a quite week watching the feather birrds. But what does he get the mad one sat next to him!! Sounds like the first 48hrs have been exciting at the very least. Missing cabs and booked out hotels. Ohh what next. Hell this is better than Home and Away!! NOT.

THE SALISBURY HAS FLOWN!! Hi to all of Dawns mates,I can report that Dawn has successfully departed these shores at oh my god o'clock this morning and is now well on her way to Peru!! God help them all.No major problems at LHR. That said Dawn was confused to discover that indeed she hadn't been upgraded to a First Class window seat on the AMS-LMA sector. This I am assured will be corrected on her arrival into AMS. Some hope Dawnie!
