Started today off with a beautiful sunrise over Cocoa beach. Our unit is right on the ocean and we wake up to the waves hitting the beach. Kennedy space centre had only about 200 people there so it was perfect for getting to see everything. After seeing the rocket that went to the moon, you have to be inpressed with the confidence that the astronauts had as they were literally sitting on top of a giant fuel tank about 100m long. We had lunch with Don Thomas a 4 time shuttle astronaut who came an spoke to our table and then gave a short question and answer session on his missions. tommorrow it is off to Washinton with the weather forecast to be a max of 13 and a min of 7.
