End of day 3. 26th June.
We left Zoli and Eto to drive roughly 1.5 hours to Buscu, near the Austrian border. On the way the gps went flat, so we missed a turn and got slightly list. Once arrived we walked the streets and met up with countless relatives. Each house would put on beers and food, as well as cakes. Met a young couple with the cutest little girl twins. They are about 6 years old and absolutely full of conference. Watching them play really makes me miss Jack and Ellie. This is the first time I start feeling home sick.
We walked up to the cemetery to see a whole bunch of graves of long lost relatives. Also saw the site of mums grandmothers house, where mum lived most of her life in Hungary. Mum also showed me a little hill where her grandmother lived that she would slid down in winter. Was really nice to see. Mum had a little glitter in her eye as I know she is rapt to be able to share these little things with me. Eventually managed to get out of there and drive to Balints parents in Szombathely. Upon arriving at Pityu handed out the parlingcor and we are into it again. They live in a commission type flat it it is very nice and homely. I pull the study couch to sleep on. I also met there daughter Suzi and her husband Zoli. Another Zoli. Both speak English so it's good to have a conversation with someone other than mum and dad.
That night in the Euro cup Hungary play someone. I'm not into the soccer but it's hard not to get into it when the whole country is going nuts over it. They get there asses whipped. So much so that the tv is turned off before the end. Spewing as I would like to have watched it until the end. Of well, hopefully they make it this far again in another 4 years, and this time I will watch it on my tv.
