Well thank the lord we got off Bounty Island, I was so disappointed in that place, I am tepted to write a complaint letter. It simply was dyer. Anyhow onwards and upwards! Beachcomber, arhhh the Cancun/Ibiza of the Fijian Islands. We said goodbye to the girls who were heading home from Bounty and took the 5 minute ferry to Beachcomber! Having not partied for a while, except for James on his cruise boat, we were hungry for a good lads night out. Checked in for 2 nights in our 100 bed dormitory, seriously this place was immense - the largest dorm i think I'll ever see. Straight to the beach, which is gorgeous by the way! Who do we find trying to tan herself on the sand, none other than Berko herself (from NZ) accompanied in the see by Hemel, and the legend that is CAT! I ran straight for her and jumped on her, forcing her into a wave and nearly drowning her! heehee. Shes my substitute muppet for the moment (thats my sister for anyone who doesn't know!). So good to see them all.
It was going to be a great night, lunch and dinner at Beachcomber was superb, and as we dawned our gladrags, jeans and a shirt! we said this was going to be a good night, headed to the live music bar for a couple of beverages and a game of cards. Tom immediately on the prowl asked a few girls if they wanted to join us and they were happy to. The night progressed with card games, drinking games, some hideously bad dancing, and more and more alcohol! Cat was brilliant all night, and we ended up having a wrestling match! I won of course, Mark would be so proud! It was a brilliant night, dancing to a live band until the early hours of the morning. The girls were good fun too, Lindszy from Scotland, and Jenny and Katie from Reading. Tom had the privilege of pulling miss Katie, as James, Cat and I drunk ourselfs into literal combers! Towards the end though it was getting a bit crazy with young English lads trying to pull anything in a skirt, and this just reminded me a bit too much of Jaks, so James and I went to bed (not together)! To be rudely awoken by Lindzey handing me a pint while I was in bed, saying she was bored and nobody was drinking anymore! She was so pissed and pole dancing for some of the night! Luckily she disappeared shortly after spilling it down herself. Tom was by far the highlight of the night though with some of the craziest dancing I have ever seen!
Good night Beachcomber
