Dan "indiana" Jones and the travel adventures
Our first stop was the Blue mountains. We went to a small town called Katoomba. The mountains and scenery was amazing. The best way to see things was by the scenic cable car network. It was quite breath taking.
The only problem was the nights. Whilst the days were lovely and sunny, the minute the sun went down it got bleeding freesing. We were sleeping in Rosie Lee and the minute we turned off the heater it got mighty chilly. It did serve for some fairly restless nights but we got through it.
We then moved on to the Jenolan Caves. It was pretty adventurous there. On our way out of the Mountain region we stopped to sleep in a car park. There was a small cafe which was closed. It seemed ok. Then, just as we were lying down for the night, there were some headlights shining on our car. I peeked out but couldn't see anything through the glare. For a minute we just assumed a car had pulled in. Then the truck/van started to drive towards us at high speed skidding just before us then doughnutting several times around the car park. We were crapping our pants and thinking about what we were going to do if they got out and came over. Fortunately they then drove away. It was pretty intense stuff.
